I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience providing individual, group and couples counseling. Areas of expertise include mood difficulties, relationship stressors, trauma and themes unique to the LGBTQ+ community, Veterans, adolescents, and older adults. My approach is often integrated, utilizing a combination of therapies, but I can also offer specific approaches: Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Integrative Couples Behavioral Therapy, Present Centered Group Therapy for PTSD, and Psychodynamic Therapy. My therapeutic style is one of mutual collaboration, incorporating a fluid role between leading and following. We will collaboratively create agreed treatment goals, plan, and preferred approaches, tailoring therapy to accommodate your needs. Beneficial therapy, in my opinion, foremost relies on the therapeutic alliance, trust, empathy, and feedback. Whether you prefer individual, couples or group therapy, the ultimate intent is that life eventually becomes therapy.
